Dental staff treats patients in Nome and the 15 regional villages. Services run the spectrum from preventative and emergency care to crowns, bridges, root canals, oral surgery, orthodontics, and dental implants. Care is provided from a fixed dental clinic in Nome. Unalakleet and Shishmaref have full-time Dental Health Aide Therapists stationed there. Annually, all villages receive a mix of itinerant dentist and DHAT visits. Portable equipment is utilized in the villages without a full-time dental presence.
